How it All Began

Following introduction by government, of significant funding for social landlords, aimed at improving housing stock quality through the Decent Homes programme, a Framework Procurement Consortia, NE Procurement was formed for North East Social Landlords, to create greater efficiencies via unified procurement.

The founding partners of NE Procurement were, Your Homes Newcastle, Coast and Country Housing, Erimus Housing, Housing Hartlepool and Teesside Housing (now part of Thirteen Group), South Tyneside Homes, Derwentside Homes, (now part of Karbon Homes), Northumberland County Council and Dale and Valley Housing (now absorbed into Believe Housing).
