Consultants should have at least two year’s post qualification experience and upon award will be required to provide evidence that they are suitably qualified

Consultants should hold training certification, trade body membership or any other subsequent or equivalent accrediting body, where applicable to the work they will be undertaking.

• Civil and Structural Engineers ensure that projects are delivered on time and offer value for money for the client through innovative and efficient design allowing for the member and or the client to assess and compare different solutions specific to the project.

• Generally, the Civil and Structural Engineers will be expected to communicate with the Lead Architect on design matters but will also be expected to liaise with other members of the consultant team, which may include but is not limited to, Quantity Surveyors, Ecologist and Health and Safety.

Survey works cover all property types including domestic and commercial, and all sizes from single low value property, right through to multiple sites of various sizes and complexities working anywhere in the geographical area. 

A full range of surveying but not limited to:

• Quantity surveying, building/structural surveying & commercial/residential surveying.
• Management Survey 
• Refurbishment and Demolition Survey 
• Ait Testing 
• Targeted Sampling Investigation 
• Surveys to Void Properties 
• Surveys to non-Void Properties

This solution is aimed at ensuring full compliance with Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and includes but is not limited to:

• General health & safety support plus advice
• Audit of current compliance with regulatory standards including review of policies
• Procedures/ Monitoring as well as Reporting of Processes
• Risk assessments,
• health & Safety Manuals & Safe Working Procedures/ Arrangements. 

Provision of a full range of specialist site investigation services including but not limited to:

• Geotechnical consultancy/investigation services
• Contaminated land services,
• Consultancy activities including risk assessment, desk studies, walkover survey, phase 1/2 investigation & site investigation.

Provision of a full range of mechanical/electrical consultant activities, including, but not limited to: -

• Site appraisals, technical reports, space planning for mechanical/electrical services, system feasibility studies, cost advice, design of heating, ventilating & air conditioning systems.

• Domestic hot/cold water systems, public health systems, building controls, HV/LV distribution systems, standby generation, UPS systems, lighting, emergency lighting and power systems, security access control & CCTV systems – earthing, lighting protection, ESP systems, fire prevention systems/commissioning by a fire consultant.

• Management of other commissioning requirements, application of appropriate building regulations, British standards, codes of practice etc., as well as commissioning of energy assessment reports as appropriate.

This solution caters for any ecological assessment and reporting requirements including but not limited to:

Ecologist will be responsible for developing the appropriate strategy and moving it forward into workable action plans and objectives linked to:

• Protected species surveys
• Habitat and phase, one surveys
• Clerk of works/licensing services
• Practical habitat management
• Client care

The ecological surveys will be undertaken in two stages:

• A Preliminary Ecological Assessment (Phase 1 Habitat survey; Desk study (at cost), badger presence /absence survey);
• Detailed surveys for bats, badgers, reptiles, great crested newts, water vole etc.

The range of second stage surveys will be determined by the findings of the Preliminary Ecological Assessment, including but not limited to: -

• Preliminary Ecological Assessment
• Bat Activity Surveys
• Great Crested Newt surveys
• Reptile Survey
• Badger Activity Survey
• Water Vole Survey
• Input into Planning & Design
• Biodiversity Enhancement Scheme

This work must, where appropriate, meet the requirements detailed in the BREEAM Home Quality Mark (HQM) ONE Section 2 Outdoors.

This solution covers the delivery of an entire project as per Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

This solution is intended for use by contracting bodies that seek to appoint a consultant to act on their behalf as contract administrator, particularly for design and build contracts. The scope includes but is not limited to:

• RICS Guidance - Employer's Agent: design/build for use in conjunction with JCT Design & Build Contract
• An Employer’s Agent will work closely with the client during the pre-construction and construction phase of works through to plot completion and handover of the site.
• Ensure the programme meets Homes England target dates. 
• Work with project team to regularly advise the client on alternative value engineering options. 
• Ensure coordination and co-operation between CDM duty Holders. 
• Ensure duty holder are fulfilling their duties under CDM regulations. 

This solution provides a fully comprehensive demolition service from initial consultation to handover of the site, ready for the construction phase. The size and nature of projects will vary from small scale through to major site clearance projects. This includes (but not limited to) the following:

• Making the site secure
• Remove all asbestos and other hazardous waste
• Demolish and clear
• Remove slab
• Remediate ground
• Crush on site
• Remove surplus
• Supply any extra aggregate required: Primary, Secondary or Recycled
• Provide any platform for construction
• Hand over to Construction Contractors build-ready

Also included within the scope is Earthworks. This includes (but not limited to) the following services:

• Initial site surveys
• Compliance with environmental legislation, right through to developing engineered building platforms.
• Discharging required planning conditions
• Bulk excavation
• Cut & fill
• Aggregate supply
• Muck away and site preparation service leaving any site ready and validated for the construction phase

This solution includes but is not limited to:

• Bioremediation delivered either ex-situ or in-situ,
• Chemical treatments
• Physical treatments
• Jet grouting
• Remediation feasibility testing.

All activities are conducted in compliance with the Environment Agency standards and regulations & any other relevant regulation or legislation.

Our Full Groundworks Services include all elements of our Demolition/Dismantling solution & Land Remediation where appropriate. Additional activities include but are not limited to:

• Road and Sewers -> including for all road, parking areas (excluding private/domestic), public open space works, and main drainage runs and laterals. 
• Sub- structure of roads and sewers 
• Roads and Sewer Stage 2 Final Surfacing
• Existing Roads and Sewers  -> complete the making of all connections and alteration into existing sewers and manholes and maintaining flow as necessary. 
• Plot Groundworks 

• The works will incorporate all elements of superstructure for dwellings. This may require the provision of house types and specifications to meet the needs of the Contracting Body or production of units to the design and specification determined by the Contracting Body, as per the Building Regulation & Planning as set out in the brief.

This solution provides the opportunity to utilise a range of modern methods of construction to build a range of residential, commercial & industrial properties including:

• Volumetric construction (modular)
• Panellised construction systems,
• Hybrid construction
• site-based modern methods of construction. 

All solutions have full Build Off Site Property Assurance Scheme (BOPAS) accreditation, or recognised equivalent, and comply with the requirements of the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

• A Principal Contractor is the contractor with control over the construction phase of a project involving more than one sub-contractor.

• Principal Contractors may need to work with a Principal Designer and/or accept novated designs.

• The scope of this lot also includes the provision of Design Services (Principal Designer) where a Contracting Body seeks to engage on a ‘Design & Build’ basis.

• Principal contractors have an important role in managing health and safety risks during the construction phase so they must have the skills, knowledge, experience and, where relevant, organisational capability to carry out this work.
