This solution caters for any ecological assessment and reporting requirements including but not limited to:
Ecologist will be responsible for developing the appropriate strategy and moving it forward into workable action plans and objectives linked to:
- Protected species surveys
- Habitat and phase, one surveys
- Clerk of works/licensing services
- Practical habitat management
- Client care
The ecological surveys will be undertaken in two stages:
- A Preliminary Ecological Assessment (Phase 1 Habitat survey; Desk study (at cost), badger presence /absence survey);
- Detailed surveys for bats, badgers, reptiles, great crested newts, water vole etc.
The range of second stage surveys will be determined by the findings of the Preliminary Ecological Assessment, including but not limited to: -
- Preliminary Ecological Assessment
- Bat Activity Surveys
- Great Crested Newt surveys
- Reptile Survey
- Badger Activity Survey
- Water Vole Survey
- Input into Planning & Design
- Biodiversity Enhancement Scheme
- Ecological Protection Plan
- Arboricultural Survey
This work must, where appropriate, meet the requirements detailed in the BREEAM Home Quality Mark (HQM) ONE Section 2 Outdoors.
